You Are Supported

Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed? Like you want support, but you’re not sure what it looks like because you’re not sure what you can actually let go of?

If you knew that there was an infinite source of energy supporting you in the actualization of your desires & dreams, how would that feel?

The truth is, we don’t need to push and pull things into being the way we want them to. In fact, in doing this, we are disregarding a huge source of unlimited energy that is conspiring in our favour. That’s right, I’m talking about the Law Of Attraction.

“What you resist persists.”

“What you think about you bring about.”

“Energy flows where attention goes.”

You’ve probably heard these sayings before. Think back to a time when you were provided with everything you needed at just the right moment.

Has this ever happened for you? Where you needed something, and you asked for help with it and the help appeared. It could be in the form of money, support, the right message at the right time, a product, a lesson, an appointment, whatever it was, it was exactly what you needed at that time. 

How did it feel? To be supported by life and know that the universe really does have your back.

If you haven’t noticed this phenomenon, over the next week I invite you to be open to support coming from any and all places. Or, better yet, where in your life can you ask for support? How would it feel to be open to being supported by life?

The mantra for this week is: I am open to being supported by life.

You are Enough


You Are Enough

Enough. You are enough. You are exactly where you are meant to be. You have nothing to prove.

You are brave, and capable and strong.

You are smart, and loving, and kind.

You are beautiful, and caring, and brilliant.

You are a light that shines so very brightly.

And sometimes you forget how much you matter.

And that’s okay. Because we all do. And the truth is, you that you matter. Very much. There is nothing you must do. No one you must be. This world needs you exactly as you are. Even if you're not sure who you are. Simply showing up in every moment is enough. Your particular magic exists in every inhale and every exhale.

The answers are in every changing moment.

You are life. And you are incredible.

Feel it move through you.

Swirling in and out of you.

 Flowing throughout you and everything around you.

The secret to everything lies within each moment.

Simply bring your breath to it. And you will have done enough. It's time to let go and breathe. To live. To be. The light is calling.

It's time to remember that you are the light

Breathe

Hello Friend!

How are you feeling today?

If you’re open to it, I’d like to invite you to come back to yourself today and take a couple of minutes just for you.

A couple of minutes simply to breathe. Inhaling to the count of 4. Exhaling to the count of 4. Or longer if your lungs can handle it. Matching your inhales to your exhales and coming back to yourself through the breath. Just being right here, right now. Can you do this for 10 breaths? If you can, give yourself this gift. Notice how it feels simply to be with the breath, with yourself, with life. Here you are. Right in the middle of everything you've done, and everything you're thinking about doing. Here you are simply being. Beautiful isn't it? And so simple to do.

This week, commit to coming back to yourself for 10 breaths a day. See how it feels. Let us know how it's going for you in the group. There are tons of incredible people just like you in there.

As we near the end of 2019, may we take the time to reflect on the good, the bad and the OFG's (Opportunities For Growth) ...


I don't know about you but I LOVE the time between Christmas and New Year's when you lose track of time and have the space to reflect and dream...


For the past several years I have been making lists of lessons in order to set future Jillian up for success.


With my Joy-coaching clients and in all of my programs I encourage doing an OFG review regularly.

Journaling the takeaways from life's lessons is helpful for feeling like you're walking away with golden nuggets rather than just bumps + bruises.

This year I thought it would be nice to share my lessons should they be helpful anyone who needs to hear them. Below are the best ones I'm taking from 2019:


  • Put your own energy first. This goes along with the whole oxygen mask/airplane metaphor which never gets old. For me at least.
  • Plan + schedule everything. Every single thing on your plate. Including non-negotiable Joy time!
  • Always use agreements + follow systems. They are there for a reason. Every time anything has gone sideways it has been when I sidestep systems that I've implemented for a reason.
  • Know and understand your numbers. I'm over experiencing feast + famine in my business. It's time for energized + Joyful inner and outer wealth!
  • Nurture your people. Quit looking ahead and focus on all of the people currently in your life. Pay attention to them. Hear them. See them. Give them as much as you can.
  • Schedule based on energy rather than time. ( A lesson I continue to relearn.)
  • Be more like Lily. For so many reasons! Live. Love. Play. Cuddle. On repeat.
  • Mind your own alignment. I  believe this is all we truly need to focus on. In alignment we have the ability to show up in love with love. 
  • Use Sacred Discipline. I came up with this term in my 6 month EXPANSION program. This is how we take inspired action and stay in alignment!
  • Joyful morning and evening routines are non-negotiable. See Sacred Discipline.
  • Joy is my currency. Dream more + get excited! 
  • Stop having sales. Share the value in your offerings instead. You are worth every penny + more!
  • Learn the programs that stress you out so you feel empowered. I'm talking about you Infusionsoft. 
  • Remember your why. Review it daily!
  • Schedule in celebrations. 
  • Schedule in stillness after celebrations;)
  • Block off 2 days a week for inspired work. No meetings. No outings. Pants + showers are optional. Hello entrepreneurial perk!
  • Ask for help silly! You don't have to do it all alone. There are people who are happy to support you.
  • Surrender! Let go of the illusion that you know best. Trust you are being supported and guided. You don't always need to know what this looks like.  
  • Have FUN! It's always best to choose the fun thing. Particularly when feeling blocked or negative. 
  • Get excited about contrast. It gives you the opportunity to re-desire!

  • Always start with boundaries. Set them right away and things will be better for everyone.
  • Protect your energy by honouring and cleansing it.
  • Book moon-time in your schedule. Honour it. 
  • Let go of perfection. We are human for a reason. Learn baby learn!
  • When you know it, do it. Don't put off the conversation, email or phone call. Tackle uncomfortable things head on. Also, tell others the nice things you're thinking about them. 
  • Avoid drama + gossip and encourage people to speak to the source. We are all just doing our best.
  • What you notice in others is a reflection of you, whether "good" or "bad". 
  • You are nature. Spend more time in it for goodness sake!
  • Believe the best in people. You will feel less like an asshole later. 
  • Don't take things personally! It's very rarely about you.
  • Don't rush the process. If it compromises Joy, don't do it.
  • Purposefully place your f*cks. 

Last but not least, you don't need to be, do or have anything else to matter and make an incredible impact on the world. You simply need to show up and shine your light in the way that only you can. 


Remember who you really are. Light, peace, love, JOY.


There you have it, the best lessons I'm taking from 2019. I can't wait to see what 2020 brings.

Do you ever feel like this?


How good would it feel to create space for ourselves to be wherever we are?


Whether you’re tired, happy, restful, sad, lonely, angry, hopeful, annoyed, frustrated, content, playful, anxious, or just feeling meh....can you give yourself permission to feel any and all of it? 


With self compassion and care, can you allow yourself to breathe more fully so that you can move through life with less resistance and more ease?

Sometimes I pause and realize that I’m pushing. Hard.


That I’m constantly reaching to know better, be better, do better. Like I’m always striving.


I’ve been feeling frustrated with myself lately, but I know this is not helpful for anyone, especially me.  Rather than forcing myself to be somewhere else, I’ve been trying to let myself be where I am.

By allowing ourselves to flow with life we begin to deepen our relationship with it.text here...

 To embrace whatever season I’m in. To embrace a slower pace and allow the possibilities to show themselves. More creativity and opportunity.

CHOOSE STILLNESS


Do you ever find yourself caught up in a web  of drama that you know deep down you could have avoided? Honestly, it happens to the best of us! 


When I feel triggered, I know I have two choices:


1.Choose stillness. Sit with my feelings, do some internal inquiry, feel them and move on.
2.React from a hurt, angry or triggered place.


Which response is the most common for you?
If you’re anything like me, you choose the second option more than you’d care to admit.


I've been trying to slow down my response times and thought it might be helpful to share.


Here's how it works: I evaluate the outcome I want. I ask myself how I am feeling and how I want to feel. I shift my thoughts to better feeling ones. Then I figure out what action will get me closer to how I want to feel.

After many years of getting caught up in Karpman's Triangle of Drama, I can almost guarantee that biting the hook and reacting from a triggered place is not going to get me to where I want to be. The key for me has been action, instead of reaction.


According to Pema Chodron, a feeling only lasts 90 seconds. Our denial, avoidance or attachment to the feeling is what makes it persist and intensify.

Ask the feeling what it’s here to teach or show you. I know this sounds wild you guys, but this sh*t really works!

Choose stillness. From this place of non-reaction lives so much opportunity for self-awareness and expansion. I often look to nature for inspiration. What a beautiful example of stillness and surrendering to what is.

What Comes To Mind When You Think Of The Word BALANCE?


I'm consistently reminded that balance is a dance. While at times I may move gracefully, other times might involve a mosh pit, swaying gently to classical or perhaps I'm bashing around like Elaine Benes. The point is, just like everything else, it ebbs and flows. The more I notice my patterns the more I feel like the key really is to approach all of it with compassion, check in regularly and give myself some slack.
